Derek Andersen

Derek Andersen is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in community building and product development. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Bevy since 2017, Derek has focused on enterprise community events and user group software, catering to notable clients like Google and Salesforce. Additionally, Derek co-founded Startup Grind in 2012, which has grown into a global community with over 20,000 events and 1 million attendees across 600 cities. Prior roles include Head Coach at Little League International, Co-Founder/Head of Product at Vaporware Labs, and Entertainment Development at Electronic Arts, where Derek managed social media communities for major gaming titles. With a communications degree from Brigham Young University, Derek has a strong foundation in marketing and customer success, previously contributing to the rapid growth of uSight.
