Wil Schroter

Wil Schroter is the founder and CEO of Startups.com. Wil has over 25 years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry. Prior to Startups.com, Wil was the founder and CEO of Blue Diesel, one of the first agencies devoted to developing Internet-based marketing and technology. Under Wil's leadership, Blue Diesel grew from $37 to $65MM in capitalized billings in a few years without outside capital. Blue Diesel was ranked 14th in the nation by Ad Age Magazine.

In 1997, Wil joined the operating board of inVentiv Health Communications, the largest privately held healthcare advertising agency, upon the acquisition of Blue Diesel. During their tenure on the board, inVentiv grew from 50 people to 550 people and capitalized billings grew from $45MM to over $700MM.

Wil is also the founder and CEO of Virtucon Ventures.

Wil Schroter graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in communications.
