Richard Hoogeboom

Richard Hoogeboom is an experienced security and loss prevention manager with a strong background in the hospitality industry, currently serving as Security Manager and Loss Prevention Manager at Marriott International since August 2017. Richard has held various security management roles at multiple hotels, including Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel & Conference Center, Hotel Des Indes, and Hotel Pulitzer Amsterdam, contributing expertise in health, safety, welfare, and loss prevention across Starwood properties in the Netherlands. Prior to entering the hospitality sector, Richard served in the Royal Netherlands Navy, specializing in submarine warfare and mine hunting. Richard received education from the Royal Netherlands Navy Operational School, achieving the rank of Petty Officer, and has been a freelance photographer since January 2015.
