Dan Lv (Mia)

Dan "Mia" Lv is a Staff Statistician at StataCorp since January 2017, providing technical support in statistical analysis, Stata programming, and data management for various customers. Prior experience includes a Data Analyst Intern position at SimStudent, where Dan conducted classroom experiments on cognitive and social theories using APLUS, and as a Research Assistant at the Wireless Networking and Communication Laboratory at Texas A&M University, focusing on modeling cascading failures in complex networks. During an earlier role at the Laboratory of Science School at Xidian University, Dan enhanced the performance of traditional Evolution Algorithms by employing Principal Component Analysis. Dan holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Xidian University.
