Sandra Dixon

Sandra Dixon has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Sandra began their career in 1980 as an Accounting Analyst at Decatur Federal Savings & Loan Assn, where they performed various financial tasks and assisted in month-end closing. In 1993, they joined SunTrust Bank as an Accounting Supervisor, overseeing a team of accountants and ensuring the accuracy of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations. Sandra then moved to SunTrust Mortgage as an Investor Accounting Supervisor, where they managed mortgage accounting activities for secondary market investors. In 2003, Sandra joined HomeBanc Mortgage as an Investor Accountant, but unfortunately, the company filed for bankruptcy in 2007, resulting in their layoff. Sandra then joined the State Bar of Georgia in 2008 as the Human Resources Director, a role they currently hold.

Sandra Dixon has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Organizational Management & Leadership from Morris Brown College, where they graduated Magna Cum Laude. Sandra also holds a Diploma in Accounting from DeKalb Technical School. Additionally, Sandra has an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Accounting & Finance from DeKalb Community College.
