David Sweiderk

David Sweiderk serves as the President and CEO of SECU Credit Union since September 2018, previously holding the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at OneAZ Credit Union from 2012 to 2018. At OneAZ, David transformed the $2B organization’s infrastructure and culture to facilitate strategic expansion and improve member engagement. Prior roles include Senior Vice President at First National Bank of Omaha, where David managed risk and workforce planning, and Executive Vice President - Managing Director at Sovereign Bank, where David developed innovative banking solutions for underserved markets. David's extensive career began at Chevy Chase Bank, progressing through various leadership roles and achieving significant growth in loans and deposits. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from James Madison University.
