Laron Taggart

LaRon Taggart is an accomplished IT Manager II at the State of Utah with extensive experience in managing IT infrastructure and software development for multiple departments, including Health and Natural Resources. With expertise in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and PCI environments, LaRon has led significant technical projects utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Previous roles include Associate Director of Systems Engineering at the University of Utah, where LaRon managed various IT teams and developed key performance indicators, and IT Manager II – Enterprise Campus Manager at the State of Utah, overseeing a large team and substantial budget. LaRon holds an MBA in Management and Strategy and a B.S. in Information Technology from Western Governors University.
