Jörg Ambrosius

Jörg Ambrosius is executive vice president and chief commercial officer, responsible for achieving financial and strategic objectives for clients, as well as building and enhancing our sales and client management capabilities globally. In this capacity, he has global oversight for our client segment and relationship management teams as well as our Global Sales, Global Client Experience and Global Marketing teams. He is also chair of the Supervisory Board of the group’s European Bank, State Street Bank International GmbH.

Most recently, Jörg was executive vice president and head of our European business.

He has been in the financial industry for more than 30 years, focusing on the needs of asset managers and institutional investors. Jörg joined State Street in 2001. He started his career at Deutsche Bank AG where he had various positions in Frankfurt and London.

He studied business administration at the University of Siegen.
