Marita Gill is a senior corporate lawyer with extensive experience in legal counsel and corporate law, currently serving at State Trustees since September 2015. Previously, Marita took a long service leave for travel, exploring various countries across Europe and Asia in 2015. Prior roles include five years at CSIRO as Legal Counsel, where Marita specialized in the Agriculture and Preventative Health Flagships, drafting and advising on numerous contracts and collaborations. Earlier experience includes positions at Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick as a Patent Attorney and Lawyer, Zeneca Agrochemicals as a Lawyer and Licensing Manager in Europe, and Rowe & Maw in London as a Solicitor. Marita holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Laws, and qualifications as a Patent and Trade Mark Attorney from the University of Melbourne, along with a scientific background in Genetics and other disciplines from Monash University.
