Frank Trezza

Frank Trezza currently serves as the Dean of Visual, Performing, and Media Arts at Montgomery College since February 2018. In addition, Frank has been an Associate Professor of Theatre at SUNY New Paltz since August 2001, where responsibilities include teaching performance and theatre studies courses as well as directing plays. Frank also holds the position of Chair of Theatre Arts, overseeing a nationally accredited department with significant faculty and student engagement. Beyond academic roles, Frank is a Professional Theatre Artist with Half Moon Theatre since June 2011 and contributes to the Association for Theatre in Higher Education as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee. Previous experience includes serving as Chair of Theatre Arts at Bradley University and as Academic Coordinator and Associate Dean for Instruction at Florida State University. Frank Trezza earned a PhD in Theatre Studies from Florida State University, an MFA in Theatre - Directing from Brooklyn College, a certificate from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art, and a BFA in Theatre - Acting from Purchase College, SUNY.
