Kate Rafla has over two decades of experience in healthcare, currently serving as the Cardiac Services Performance Improvement Manager at Staten Island University Hospital since August 1999. In this role, Kate implements performance improvement methodologies and promotes evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and safety within the Cardiac Services department. Previous positions include Nursing Care Coordinator and Per Diem Interventional RN at American Access Care from 2007 to 2011. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Catholic University of America, earned in 1999, and graduated with a New York State Regents Degree from Notre Dame Academy High School in 1995.
