Bas Leurs

Bas Leurs is a seasoned professional in design and learning, currently serving as a Fellow at States of Change since 2020 and as the Lead Learning Designer for UNDP since May 2019, focusing on creating a vast learning network addressing development challenges. Previously, Bas Leurs held the position of Head of Learning Experience Design at Nesta from September 2014 to April 2019, and prior to that, contributed as a Lecturer in Design at Rotterdam University from January 2003 to August 2014, as well as a Lecturer in Computer Related Design at Avans University from April 2001 to July 2005. Bas Leurs has experience in interaction design and web development from running an independent business from 1997 to 2004 and has also worked as a Partner and Interaction Designer at NLXL. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Design for Interaction from TU Delft (2010-2014) and an undergraduate degree in Graphic and Typographic Design from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague (1992-1996).
