Lizzy Lawrence is a medical devices reporter at STAT. She previously wrote about Silicon Valley workplaces and productivity tools for tech news site Protocol. Before that, she covered local breaking news for the Baltimore Sun and public health for Kaiser Health News. In 2020, she served as editor-in-chief of The Michigan Daily, her school’s independent newspaper. Lizzy lives in Washington, D.C., but is a New Yorker at heart.
