Bertrand Théaud

Bertrand Theaud is a seasoned entrepreneur and legal professional with extensive experience in the Fintech and legal sectors. As the founder of Statrys since October 2018, Bertrand has led the company in delivering innovative payment and foreign exchange solutions for Asian SMEs, with operations expanding in Hong Kong, Bangkok, and the UK. In addition to this role, Bertrand serves as a mentor at Chinaccelerator and was a partner at BLF from June 2019 to June 2023, focusing on assisting businesses in navigating the evolving landscape in China. Previous positions include managing partner at Winston & Strawn LLP's Shanghai office and founder of ETOPS AVIATION. Bertrand's academic background includes degrees from IAE Paris - Sorbonne Business School and the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as a bar diploma from the Paris Bar.
