Software Engineer at Stauder Technologies

Roman Portnoi began their career in 1980 as a Senior Software Engineer at Search Enterprises, where they designed, developed, and maintained a multi-step search application for a local real-estate brokerage company. Roman also developed mathematical models for various research projects. In 1990, they joined Orisol - Original Solutions Ltd as a Software Engineer. In 1991, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Telrad Telecommunications Inc, where they designed, programmed and integrated powerful debugger utility for various embedded platforms with remote debugging capability via internet connection, as well as developed diagnostic packages for a variety of proprietary devices and hardware platforms. In 1998, they moved to Primary Network - WebWorks as a Senior Developer, where they designed and implemented VB application for online generation and modification of static (HTML) and dynamic (ASP) web pages for various online Site Building applications. In 2000, they became a Senior Developer at Tripos, where they participated in the development of an extensible platform for chemical data analysis & modeling. Finally, in 2010, they joined Stauder Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they participated in development of the StrikeLink\u00ae application, and designed and developed numerous enhanced edit controls (location, elevation, azimuth, etc.) allowing changes on the fly data presentation.

Roman Portnoi earned an M.A in Applied Mathematics from Chernovtsy State University between 1975 and 1980.
