Per Kristian Vareide

Per Kristian Vareide is an experienced municipal executive currently serving as Kommunedirektør at Stavanger kommune since March 2016. Previously, Vareide held the position of Rådmann at Grimstad kommune from September 2012 to March 2016. Prior to these roles, Vareide was a Chief Advisor at KS Kommunesektorens organisasjon, advising management in Norwegian municipalities from February 2009 to September 2012, and served as a Senior Manager at Deloitte, focusing on change management and analysis from August 2006 to February 2009. Vareide holds a Master's degree in Industrial Economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and has additional qualifications from Brannfjell and the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in public auditing and administration.
