Emily Mininberg has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Emily began their career in 2012 as a research assistant at Colby College, where they worked on paleoecological and paleoclimate history reconstruction projects. Emily also worked as a teaching assistant and student teacher at Waterville Senior High School, developing and implementing chemistry curricula and laboratory materials. In 2013, they interned as a research assistant at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, where they digitized bathymetry data for a mapping project and assisted with equipment calibration. In 2016, they joined Global Healthcare Insights as an associate editor. Later that year, they started at Heirloom as an install operations associate before being promoted to director of operations and then executive vice president of operations.
Emily Mininberg attended Brookline High School from 2006 to 2010, where they earned their High School Diploma. From 2010 to 2015, they attended Colby College where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Geology and Science Education.
