Gus Bahn

Gustav has served as the Steadfast’s Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary since September 1st, 2020. Gustav previously served as Associate General Counsel, Securities & Investments for Steadfast Companies, a position he held since July 2016.

Prior to joining Steadfast, Gustav was a partner at the law firm of Alston & Bird LLP where his practiced focused on securities law, private equity and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Alston & Bird LLP in 2006, Gustav was an associate in the capital markets group of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in both the New York and London offices from 2000 to 2006.

Gustav received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Tennessee, an MS.c. from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a J.D. from Tulane Law School. Gustav is an avid Arsenal F.C. fan and enjoys playing chess.
