Stephen Kimanzi is a dedicated researcher and engineer with a strong focus on mechanical engineering, particularly in biomechanical approaches to neurological tremors. Currently serving as a MITACS Intern at Steadiwear Inc. since May 2019, Stephen works on designing and testing passive tremor orthoses. Previously, Stephen held various positions, including Graduate Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia, contributing to advanced research related to Parkinson's disease and Essential tremor. Academic achievements include a PhD and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in the same field. Stephen's experience spans various roles, including test administration, environmental engineering, and drilling engineering internships, showcasing a robust background in both research and industry applications.
