Grant Greenwood has had a varied and successful career in data analysis. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Data Analyst for Growth and Product at Steady, where they redesigned the conversion system to properly account for revenue and incentives, worked with data engineers to build data pipelines automating Growth KPI visibility, and created Tableau dashboards to visualize trends for media spend optimization. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Senior Data Analyst at Bazaarvoice, where they were the project manager/lead analyst for the redesign of annual/quarterly benchmarks, a product analyst for internal products such as Review Highlights, and used SQL daily to fulfill ad hoc and recurring requests. In 2016, they were a Business Intelligence Data Analyst at WP Engine, where they used SQL to analyze customer support data, developed predictive models in R, and created a data visualization API with a team of data engineers. In 2016, they were a Teacher's Assistant for Intro. to Statistics at The University of Texas at Austin, where they held classes of ~100 students, held workshops to teach students Excel, tutored students during office hours, and graded quizzes, all exams and all portfolio projects. From 2012 to 2013, they were an Office Assistant, Research Assistant, and Research Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University, where they created a battery of questions to test the musical expertise knowledge of an amnesic violist, generated alternative incorrect answers for force-choice versions of the tests, and reviewed and critiqued batteries of questions prepared by other research assistants. In 2012, they were a Research Assistant at Southern Oregon University, where they conducted an independently-designed, mentored pilot-study on music-evoked autobiographical memory, reviewed recent literature and met with Principal Investigator to design surveys, and research based on this pilot-study was continued by the PI and two other students, with a poster presented at the 2013 WPA Convention.
Grant Greenwood attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Science and Philosophy. From 2013 to 2014, they pursued additional studies in Cognitive Neuroscience and Meta-ethics at UCL. Grant then attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2015 to 2017, earning a Master's Degree in Psychometrics, Statistics and Research Design.
