Patrick Keeney

Patrick Keeney has worked at three different companies in chronological order. Patrick started their career at Walmart in 2010 as a Department Manager. In 2011, they joined the Roanoke City Department of Social Services as a Benefit Program Specialist, where they interviewed clients, analyzed their financial situation, and enrolled them in welfare programs. Patrick worked there until 2013. Since 2013, Patrick has been employed at Steel Dynamics, Inc. Patrick started as a Melt shop clerk and then advanced to the role of Programmer/System Analyst. Currently, they serve as the Lead Software Developer at the company.

Patrick Keeney attended James Madison University from 2006 to 2010 and obtained a Bachelor's of Music degree in Music Industries. Patrick also received certifications including the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle and the Microsoft Technology Associate: Database Administration Fundamentals (MTA) from Microsoft in 2016.
