Jeff Adams

Jeff Adams has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and communications. Jeff currently holds the position of Information Systems Security Manager at Lockheed Martin since 2022. Previously, they founded Steel Rail Security, a veteran-owned small business focused on developing cyber security hardening guides. Jeff also worked as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer at ManTech from 2021 to 2022 and as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Tapestry Technologies, Inc. from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Cybersecurity Specialist at Hewlett-Packard from 2015 to 2021. Jeff has also worked as a System Security Analyst at Celerity IT, LLC, conducting security assessments and providing recommendations for improving security posture. In addition, they have experience as a Unix Systems Administrator at General Dynamics Information Technology and as a Satellite Communications Technician in the US Army, where they served for over 10 years.

Jeff Adams earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Phoenix, where they studied from 2004 to 2012. Jeff later pursued a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus, completing their studies between 2014 and 2016. Additionally, Jeff obtained certifications in Security+ from CompTIA in March 2012 and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in June 2021.
