Lone In Ja Ravnsholt Østergaard

Lone In Ja Ravnsholt Østergaard has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Lone In Ja Ravnsholt started their career as a Trainee at Danmarks Radio in 1992 before moving on to become an Auditor at AP, Statsautoriserede Revisorer in 1994. In this role, they gained comprehensive knowledge in general audit, tax, and accounting practices for small and medium-sized enterprises.

In 2006, Østergaard joined EY as a Tax Manager, where they were responsible for corporate tax compliance and advising on corporate structuring. Lone In Ja Ravnsholt later became a Senior Tax Manager/Statsautoriseret revisor and worked on various tax-related tasks, including tax calculations and returns, corporate structuring, and education of young auditors. Lone In Ja Ravnsholt also had a brief stint with EY Greenland, where they assisted in setting up the office from scratch and managed audit, accounting, payroll, and tax tasks.

In 2012, Østergaard joined Ørsted as a Lead Financial Consultant, specializing in wind power, financial reporting, and tax/financial projects. Lone In Ja Ravnsholt worked in this role for seven years before transitioning to Roskilde University in 2019 as the Head of Accounting. In this position, they were responsible for accounting, compliance, research projects accounting, the university's annual report, treasury, and VAT. Lone In Ja Ravnsholt managed a team of 14 individuals until their departure in 2020.

Currently, Østergaard is the Director and Head of Accounting, Compliance & Tax at SteelSeries, where they oversee various financial and compliance-related functions.

Lone In Ja Ravnsholt Østergaard's education history begins in 1989 when they attended Aabenraa Business College and obtained a degree in Economics from there in 1992. Afterward, they enrolled at Copenhagen Business School in 1992 and completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting and Economic Management (HD-R) in 1997. Lone In Ja Ravnsholt further pursued their education at Copenhagen Business School and earned a Master of Science in Business Economics and Auditing (Cand.merc.aud.) from 1997 to 2001. Finally, they obtained a qualification as a State Authorised Public Accountant in 2008, specializing in Statsautoriseret revisor (DK).
