Derek Phebus

Derek Phebus has extensive experience in the construction industry. Derek currently holds the position of Vice President of Construction at SteelWave since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Nova Partners, Inc. from 2013 to 2022, starting as a Project Engineer and progressing to Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and ultimately becoming a Project Director in 2020. Before that, they worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Skanska USA Building Inc. from 2011 to 2013. Derek also gained experience as a Project Engineer at endvrcorp from 2008 to 2009. Derek started their career as a Project Engineering Intern at Opus West Corporation in 2007 and at Clark Construction in 2006.

Derek Phebus earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they studied from 2002 to 2007.
