Stephen Brown

Stephen Brown has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Stephen is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at STELLA Automotive AI since January 2023, where they previously held the position of SVP Solutions from January 2020 to January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Telepathy Labs, starting as the VP of Software Engineering from January 2017 to March 2019, and later transitioning to the role of SVP of Software Engineering from April 2019 to January 2023.

Stephen also has experience as the Director of Engineering / CTO at Turnkey Business Solutions Pte Ltd from February 2014 to December 2016. Stephen was the President and Co-Founder of Perceptive Development, a boutique development shop, from February 2006 to January 2014. Stephen worked as the Director of Engineering at All Info Tools from January 2003 to January 2006.

Stephen's early career includes roles as the Director of Software Engineering at A2Z iTV from February 2002 to November 2002, Lead Software Architect at Credit Interlink from June 1998 to February 2002, Software Engineer at Cinebase Software from March 1995 to June 1998, and Engineering Intern at Cinebase Software from June 1995 to October 1995. Stephen also served as a Contractor at Static Online, Inc. in April 1995.

Stephen's earliest experience can be traced back to their role as an Engineer at InterNexus, Inc. from March 1993 to March 1995, where they initially set up and administered the company's various BBS systems and later expanded into programming custom plugins for MajorBBS.

Throughout their career, Stephen has worked on various projects and collaborated with notable companies and clients, including APM Terminals / Maersk Sealand, Kensington, Mophie, Qualcomm, Razor, Sony Pictures, Spectron IQ, Jaybird, WaveSense, Volkswagen, Vector USA, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, and BBC. Stephen has a strong background in software engineering, technology leadership, and technical architecture.

Stephen Brown attended UCLA from 1995 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following this, they went on to complete their Masters in Electrical Engineering at UCLA from 2000 to 2003.
