Crystal Kirkham

Crystal Kirkham has extensive work experience in the banking and auditing industry. Crystal is currently working as an Internal Audit Manager VP at Stellar Bank, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Internal Auditor VP and a Senior Internal Auditor AVP at CommunityBank of Texas N.A. from April 2019 to the present. From May 2016 to April 2019, Crystal worked as a BAS Senior Auditor at Briggs & Veselka Co., specializing in regulatory compliance and audits related to banking software validation and forensic statements. Crystal also has experience as an Internal Auditor at Klein ISD from December 2013 to May 2016, where they conducted financial, operational, and compliance audits. Crystal began their career at BBVA Compass in September 2010, where they held various positions including Financial Sales Advisor, Associate Manager, and Branch Associate.

Crystal Kirkham has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University, which they obtained between 2006 and 2010. Crystal also holds additional certifications including Certified Fraud Specialist (CFS) from BankersHub, BSA/AML Professional Certification from BankersHub, Internal Controls Certification from Illumeo, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Certification from Illumeo, all obtained in 2020 and 2023.
