Christopher Kam has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Christopher started as a Summer Utility Person at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2014. Christopher then worked as an Airport Greeter at EF Education First in the same year. In 2016, they served as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Foster Farms. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Mechanical Enterprises, Inc. as a Project Coordinator, where they played a vital role in designing HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and military buildings. Christopher also trained interns and implemented ADA guidelines for various projects. In 2021, Christopher joined Mechanical Engineers of Hawaii as a Mechanical Engineer, where they successfully resolved issues, led design projects, and coordinated with architects and contractors. Currently, they are an Assistant Project Manager at Stellar, starting in 2023.
Christopher Kam completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Pacific, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Prior to their university education, they attended Iolani School from 2009 to 2013 for their high school education. In April 2020, Christopher obtained a certification as a member of ASHRAE.
