Jim Brown

Jim Brown has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Jim began their career in 1996 as a Regional Human Resources Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where they were responsible for managing HR functions across multiple locations in the Northeast Florida and South Georgia regions. In 2001, they transitioned to the role of Training Manager within the same company, where they focused on developing and implementing training programs.

In 2007, Jim joined Enterprise Holdings Inc. as a Group Human Resources Manager, overseeing HR functions for a multi-location group in Northeast Florida and South Georgia. During their tenure, they managed various aspects of HR, including recruiting, hiring practices, training, benefits, and compensation.

In 2011, Jim took on the role of Director of Human Resources at Physicians for Cure, LLC, where they were responsible for managing the HR department for four separate companies in multiple states. Jim established the HR department from scratch, implementing HR plans and processes, administering payroll and benefits plans, developing recruiting strategies, and creating employee handbooks and onboarding processes.

In 2013, Jim joined Adecco Group North America as a Human Resources Director/Business Partner. In this role, they worked closely with internal clients, providing guidance on policies, procedures, coaching, legal compliance, and employee relations. Jim built trust and fostered productive relationships with colleagues and management, serving as a primary resource for HR matters.

From 2017 to 2023, Jim served as the Director of Human Resources at CoolSys - Refrigeration and HVAC Systems. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer, they collaborated with senior leadership to drive business results, reinforce company culture, and maintain a highly engaged workforce. Jim developed and executed workforce plans, which included staffing, training, communication, retention, and engagement strategies.

Most recently, in 2023, Jim joined Stellar as the Human Resources Director. Stellar is a design-build firm offering various services to a global customer base. Jim's role involves overseeing HR operations and contributing to the company's growth and success.

Throughout their career, Jim has consistently demonstrated expertise in HR management, strategic planning, employee relations, and building collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.

Jim Brown has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Education from Virginia Tech. In December 2020, they obtained a 9Q Leadership Essentials Certificate from NineQ LLC.
