Dipak Thakker

Dipak Thakker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Dipak is the Founder/Chairman of Stellar iDea Labs since June 2020. Prior to this, they served as the President and CEO of greatEvent - BookingSimplified, a platform revolutionizing the event industry by allowing consumers to view and book meeting rooms online. Dipak founded and chaired Stellar IT Solutions, Inc. since March 2010, providing technology solutions and services, software development, talent management, and consulting services. Dipak was also a Program Director at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority from July 2000 to October 2008, leading the development of a successful market surveillance program using predictive analytics to detect insider trading and fraud in US stock markets. Dipak is currently a Charter Member of TiE Silicon Valley.

Dipak Thakker completed their Executive Management Program in Venture Capital & Private Equity at Columbia Business School from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Investment Management from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business between 1997 and 1999. Dipak'sundergraduate education was at Dharmsinh Desai University from 1988 to 1991, although the specific degree and field of study are not mentioned.
