McElory Hoffmann

McElory Hoffmann is a seasoned academic and industry professional with extensive experience in computer science and applied mathematics. Currently serving as Managing Director of Praelexis since January 2013, McElory has also held the position of Senior Lecturer at Stellenbosch University since July 2014, contributing to the field through both teaching and research. Previously, McElory was a Senior Lecturer and Lector at the University of Stellenbosch from 2008 to November 2013, led MIH Media Lab as Director from August 2011 to January 2013, and worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at K.U.Leuven during the 2011-2012 period. Educational credentials include a PhD in Applied Mathematics obtained from Stellenbosch University from 2005 to 2009, and a BEngSci (Cum laude) in Computer Engineering completed at Stellenbosch University from 2001 to 2004.
