Eric Barlow

Eric Barlow has an extensive work experience in the education sector. Eric started their career as a Teacher with the NYC Department of Education in 2005, where they taught 7th-grade mathematics. After that, they joined Hyde Leadership Charter School in 2007 as a Data and Assessment Coordinator, where they developed systems to collect and analyze student achievement data. In 2008, they joined Alliance College-Ready Public Schools as the Director of Operations, where they improved school operations and saved $1M through increased efficiency in the school lunch program. In 2013, they became the Managing Director, Operations at Math and Science College Preparatory, overseeing operational functions until 2015. From 2015 onwards, they served as the COO of STEM Preparatory Schools, managing the merger of MSCP with Crown Preparatory Academy and leading the organization with an annual budget of approximately $13M and around 125 employees.

Eric Barlow completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from Cornell University, attending from 2001 to 2005. Eric then pursued their Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching at Pace University, from 2005 to 2007.
