Kim Nelson

Kim Nelson has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Kim is currently the Director of Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility at STEMCELL Technologies, a position they have held since June 2021. Before that, they served as the Associate Director of Marketing Operations from March 2017 to June 2021. Kim also held various managerial roles within the company, including Senior Manager of Marketing Operations from June 2013 to March 2017 and Manager of Marketing Operations from March 2010 to June 2013. Kim also served as the Acting Director of Marketing from November 2008 to March 2010 and as a Product Manager for Cell Separation from November 2007 to November 2008.

Prior to their time at STEMCELL Technologies, Kim worked at AnorMED, where they held the role of Manager of Investor Relations from September 2005 to November 2007. Kim also worked as a Senior Scientist at the company from September 2000 to September 2005.

Kim Nelson has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Honours degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Mount Saint Vincent University. Kim later earned a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Victoria. Additionally, Kim obtained a Certificate in Integrated Marketing from The University of British Columbia. Kim also holds an Inbound Certification from HubSpot, which was obtained in July 2015.
