Roxana Mustata is a Senior Scientist at STEMCELL Technologies, with expertise in organoid cultures and assay development for compound screening and quality control, contributing to collaborative projects in media development since October 2016. Previously, Roxana served as a Research Associate at WT-Stem Cell Institute, focusing on CRISPR/Cas9 gene targeting strategies and creating conditional knockouts and knockins of disease-related genes. In addition, a postdoctoral fellowship at IRIBHM - ULB involved investigating LGR receptors in intestinal stem cell homeostasis, while earlier research at the Institute of Biochemistry of the Romanian Academy centered on liposome drug delivery systems and biomaterials development. Roxana holds a PhD in Biology from the Romanian Academy-Institute of Biochemistry, an MSc in Biology from the University of Bucharest, and a BSc in Chemistry from the same institution.
