Carl-Johan Hellner

Carl-Johan Hellner serves as Chair of the Strategy Officers of the Supply Chain & Transport Industry at the World Economic Forum since January 2024. Currently, Carl-Johan is the Chief Operating Officer for Port & Terminals and Group Strategy at Stena Line, a role held since August 2019, overseeing strategic implementation and port operations across approximately 30 locations. Carl-Johan's previous experience includes senior leadership roles at Volvo Cars, including Senior Director of Commercial, Uptime, and COO of Care by Volvo, among others. Prior to these positions, extensive experience was gained at SAS (Scandinavian Airlines), where Carl-Johan held multiple vice president roles focusing on efficiency, change management, and commercial planning. Carl-Johan holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from Henley Business School, and has served on multiple boards within the aviation and transportation sectors.
