John Pedersen

John Pedersen is a seasoned marine engineer with extensive experience in the maritime industry. Currently serving as Senior Chief Engineer at Stena Line since March 2020, John Pedersen is responsible for maintenance, budget management, and investment planning on board, while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Previously, John Pedersen held various engineering roles at Maersk Line from December 2010 to March 2020, including Chief Engineer and 2nd Engineer, focusing on maintenance and faultfinding in engine room machinery. John Pedersen began the career with a position as a sounding board member and dual cadet at Maersk Line in 2006. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Technology Management and Marine Engineering from SIMAC and a Technical College degree from Vejle Tekniske Gymnasium.
