Sara Lerén

Sara Lerén has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of user experience (UX) and impact-driven design. Sara is currently serving as the UX Director at Stendahls, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Skola24 as a User Experience Strategist, where they focused on business development and helping the company work in a more user-driven manner.

Sara has also held multiple roles at inUse, including Director of Sustainable Design, Senior UX Strategist, and Head of the inUse Award jury. In these positions, they provided coaching, consulting, and training on creating maximum value for both users and businesses. Sara also served as a member of the Gothenburg management team.

Additionally, Sara has served as a User Experience Strategist and Accessibility Specialist at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), where they conducted impact mapping and accessibility reviews for the web system used during crises. Sara also worked as a User Experience Strategist consultant for various companies, such as Volvia, Dignisia AB, FAST2 Affärssystem AB, AFRY, University of Gothenburg, and Göteborgs Stads Parkering AB. In these roles, they conducted usability testing, created concept designs, and provided decision support to improve design capabilities and create maximum impact.

Sara Lerén completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science at the University of Gothenburg from 1997 to 2003. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Mountain Goat Software in September 2012. Sara also has certifications in 6-Sigma Green Belt and ITIL Foundation v3, however, the institutions and dates of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
