Clemens Köhler began their career in 2017 as a Software Engineer at Couchfunk GmbH and Develappers GmbH. In 2019, they became a Data & Software Engineer at Conimon. In 2020, they were promoted to Technical Project Lead at Epione. In 2021, they moved to Computacenter as a Cloud Architect and Software Engineer. Finally, in 2022, they joined Stenon as a Senior Data Engineer & Cloud Architect. In this role, they were able to reduce infrastructure cost by 99% while increasing throughput by a factor of 10, as well as utilizing AWS to scale from national to global A.I. CI/CD infrastructure. Clemens also provided reliable offline tools for field experiments, mentored Engineers, and developed and implemented projects from conception to completion with cross functional teams.
Clemens Köhler began their educational journey at the Technische Universität Dresden, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Clemens then continued their studies at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway as part of an Erasmus Scholarship, studying both Physics and Computer Science. In 2021, Köhler obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
