Mackenzie Carnow has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Mackenzie started their career as a Student Teacher at Børneinstitutionen Artibus in 2015. Mackenzie then worked as an Intern at the DePaul University Education and Counseling Center in 2016. During the same year, they also served as a Clinical Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Northwestern University. In 2017, they worked as an Instructional Assistant at The Cove School in Northbrook, IL. In 2018, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Vanderbilt Peabody College. The following year, they served as a Student Teacher at Waverly Belmont Elementary School and simultaneously worked as a Reading Tutor at the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center Reading Clinic. From 2020 to 2023, they worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Hyde Park Day School. Currently, they are working as the Head Teacher at Stephen Gaynor School, starting in 2023. Additionally, they also had a role as a School Coordinator and Curriculum Specialist at Supplies for Dreams from 2014 to 2017.
Mackenzie Carnow completed their education at Northwestern University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders Sciences. Subsequently, they pursued further education at Vanderbilt Peabody College from 2018 to 2020, earning a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching.
