Christina Dematteo

Christina DeMatteo is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in preventive medicine and infectious disease. Currently serving as the Preventive Medicine Residency Assistant Program Director at Maine Medical Center since July 2010, Christina also holds roles as an Infectious Disease Consultant and Hospitalist at the same institution. Additionally, Christina has been the Medical Director for the Portland Public Health STD Clinic and Needle Exchange Program since July 2017, and is a Hospitalist at Stephens Memorial Hospital. Christina's earlier experience includes a per diem Hospitalist position at Miles Memorial Hospital from May 2016 to June 2018. Christina's educational background includes a Doctor of Osteopathy from the University of New England and a Master of Public Health from the same institution, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Carleton College.
