Founder and Director at Stepping Stones Pediatric Therapy

Lindsay Cavner has diverse work experience in the field of occupational therapy. Lindsay started their career in 1999 as an Occupational Therapist at Memorial Hospital, where they worked with adult clients to improve their functional independence after injuries or surgeries. Lindsay then moved to Horizon Pediatric Therapy in 2003, where they worked as an Occupational Therapist until 2004. During this time, they also worked at Fiesta Pediatric Therapy as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, focusing on assisting children with disabilities and their families.

In 2004, Lindsay became the Owner and Therapy Supervisor at Stepping Stones Pediatric Therapy, LLC, where they continued to provide therapy services. After a few years, they expanded their experience by joining The Juice Plus+ Company in 2014 as a Sales Coordinator. In this role, they coordinated sales activities and supported the sales team.

In 2015, Lindsay joined MGA Homecare as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, working with children until 2018. Lindsay then moved to The Resource Exchange in the same year and currently works as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist.

Throughout their career, Lindsay has also been actively involved in professional development and advocacy for occupational therapy. From 2000 to 2002, they served as the Professional Development Chair at OTAC, where they encouraged occupational therapists in Colorado to engage in activities to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Lindsay Cavner has a diverse education history with a focus on health, wellness, and occupational therapy. Lindsay started their educational journey by obtaining a high school diploma in general studies from West Springfield High School in 1993.

After high school, Lindsay pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from Cornell University, completing their studies in 1997. Lindsay then continued their education at Columbia University, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy (MS OT) from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1999.

In 2012, Lindsay furthered their knowledge in the field of health, nutrition, and wellness by attending the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where they obtained a certification as a Health, Nutrition, and Wellness Coach.

Lindsay has also obtained additional certifications in their field, including one as a Health Coach from AADP and another as an Occupational Therapist from NBCOT. However, the specific dates of when they obtained these certifications are not provided.
