Wolfgang Bruhn

Wolfgang Bruhn joined StepStone Germany in January 2005 as a member of the management board (Vorstand) when Axel Springer AG acquired its shareholding in the company. Currently Wolfgang is in charge for Mergers & Acquisitions, International Sales and The Network, a strategic alliance of job boards in over 130 countries around the world. Wolfgang has extensive experience of managing digital media businesses at both the strategic and the operational level. Before he joined StepStone Wolfgang was speaker of the management board of the Axel Springer multimedia company AS Interactive. Following a publishing apprenticeship with Axel Springer in the 1980s, and after completing his studies in business economics at Hamburg University, he started his media career as an assistant to the CEO of Axel Springer in 1993. From 1995 he was the managing director of Computel GmbH in Hamburg, which was merged into AS Interactive GmbH at the beginning of 2002.
