Michael Brunner

Michael Brunner is an accomplished operations executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries, including sterilization and energy. Currently serving as VP of Operations for Sterigenics since February 2019, Michael manages operations, safety, quality, maintenance, and customer service across 11 facilities in four countries while overseeing a workforce of over 350 employees. Previous positions include Director of Independent Distribution Oversight at Duke Energy Corporation, Supplier Quality Oversight Manager at Westinghouse Electric Company, and numerous senior leadership roles within the US Navy, where responsibilities ranged from managing nuclear weapons systems to commanding submarines. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master's degree in Engineering Management from The Catholic University of America.
