Amit Jain

Amit Jain has extensive work experience in the renewable energy and construction industry. Amit is currently the Global CEO at Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Country Head-USA & Australia in the same company from January 2019 to June 2021. Amit has also held various leadership positions at Punj Lloyd Limited, including Country Head-Qatar & Oman from November 2017 to January 2019, Country Head-Qatar from November 2012 to November 2017, Head of Projects-Central Asia from July 2010 to November 2012, Sr. General Manager-Oil & Gas from October 2005 to July 2010, Dy. General Manager from October 2003 to October 2005, and Business Development Manager from June 2000 to October 2003. Prior to their time at Punj Lloyd, Amit worked at RPG Transmission Limited as an Astt. Manager- Business Development & Tendering from April 1995 to June 2000 and at ABB SAE SADELMI as an Astt. Manager- Business Development & Tendering from November 1992 to April 1995.

Amit Jain completed their Bachelor's degree in Technology at Delhi College of Engineering from 1986 to 1990. Amit went on to pursue a Master's degree in Technology with a focus on Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering at the same institution, completing it in 1992. Amit also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, although the specific timeline is not provided.
