Carmela Stricklett

Carmela Stricklett is an accomplished Senior Graphic Designer at Sterling since February 2019, with extensive experience in graphic design, art direction, and branding across various industries. Previously, Carmela has worked as an Art Director/Animator/Designer in a self-employed capacity since February 2017 and held roles at CORE Real Estate, Amplify, and RODE Advertising, where a strong focus on real estate marketing, education technology, and branding was demonstrated. Notable achievements include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external vendors to produce custom marketing materials under tight deadlines and developing educational components compliant with California Common Core standards. Early career experiences included internships at NBCUniversal and WBMG, as well as bartending and serving in New York City establishments, which honed skills in high-pressure environments. Carmela holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts from Fordham University.
