Santosh Sawant

Santosh Sawant has over 20 years of work experience in the IT industry. Santosh is currently the Director of IT, EMEA & APAC at Sterling Lexicon since May 2018. Previously, they served as the Group IT Director at Sterling Mobility from August 2017 until their current role. Prior to that, Santosh worked as an IT Director - Application Development from July 2013 to July 2017, and as an IT Development Manager from July 2005 to June 2013, both at Sterling Mobility. Santosh also worked as a Solutions Architect at Japanese Computer Services from May 2003 to July 2005, and as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead at GVA Grimley from 2001 to 2003. Santosh began their career as a Software Developer at KPIT Cummins from August 1999 to December 2000, and earlier at D. R. Software Pvt. Ltd. from May 1997 to August 1999.

Santosh Sawant completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business/IT Strategy from Henley Business School, from the year 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai, between 1993 and 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Santosh Sawant has also achieved various certifications. These include being certified as a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals by Microsoft in July 2020, and obtaining a Practitioner Certificate in Enterprise & Solution Architecture from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in March 2016. Santosh also completed a course on Disruptive Strategy with Clayton Christensen from HBX | Harvard Business School in April 2015 and earned the TOGAF 9 Certified - Level 1 & 2 certification from The Open Group in March 2015. Lastly, Santosh achieved the PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner certification but the obtained month and year are not provided.
