Abhay Kumar

Abhay Kumar has a diverse work experience in the field of project management and engineering. Abhay started their career in 2007 as a Project Executive at KEC International Ltd. and worked there until 2011. After that, they joined LS Cable & System as a Sr. Engineer Project for a short period of time in 2011-2012.

In 2012, Abhay joined Larsen & Toubro where they held different roles over the years. Abhay started as a Section Manager, working on the 765 KV D/C Wardha Aurangabad TL project. During their time at Larsen & Toubro, they gained valuable experience and skills in project management. Abhay later became a Project Manager and successfully delivered one of India's most challenging and largest CKM transmission utilities. Abhay worked at Larsen & Toubro until November 2019.

Currently, Abhay Kumar is working at Sterlite Power as Chief Manager - Projects. Abhay took on this role in December 2019 and held it until September 2021. Abhay then transitioned to the role of AVP - Project Management & Monitoring, as well as Assistant Vice President - Projects, starting in October 2021.

Abhay Kumar's work experience demonstrates their expertise and growth in project management, as well as their ability to take on increasingly challenging roles in the power and utility sector.

Abhay Kumar's education history includes the following:

1. From 2021 to 2022, Abhay pursued a Management Program in General Management at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

2. From 2016 to 2018, Abhay attended NICMAR University, where they completed a PGP degree in Infrastructure & Construction Management.

3. Between 2003 and 2007, Abhay studied at the University of Rajasthan and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

4. From 1999 to 2001, Abhay attended Jesus & Mary Academy for their Senior Secondary Education, where they focused on Science with Maths.

5. During the academic year of 1998 to 1999, Abhay studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya for their Secondary School education, covering all compulsory subjects.
