Vivek Goel

Vivek Goel has a diverse and extensive work experience in various finance and commercial roles. Vivek started their career at Advance Surfactants India Limited as a Manager Commercial from October 2001 to April 2005.

Vivek then joined Sterlite Technologies Ltd. in April 2005 as AGM Finance & Commercial, where they were responsible for preparing and monitoring the annual business plan, daily performance monitoring, monthly MIS, variance analysis, logistics management, sales planning, procurement of raw materials, and inventory controls. Vivek streamlined systems for effective inventory controls and purchases. Vivek held this position until November 2008.

After that, they worked at IFB Industries Ltd. from October 2008 to May 2010 as GM Finance, where they served as the Finance & Commercial Head of the Goa Factory. Their responsibilities included fund planning and management, forex, monitoring the annual business plan, daily performance monitoring, monthly MIS, variance analysis, import logistics management, and inventory controls. Vivek also streamlined systems in the SAP environment.

Most recently, Vivek Goel joined Sterlite Power in April 2011. Vivek has held various roles within the company, including Head Commercial - Power Transmission Business, Head of SCM, and Division CFO at Sterlite Power Products from June 2021 onwards. In their current role, they are responsible for setting up a high-level supply chain process and making centers of excellence supply chain function. Vivek focuses on plan, source, make, and deliver aspects, aiming to blend technology and business process changes to optimize supply chain operations.

Vivek Goel completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) degree in Commerce from Banaras Hindu University, from 1988 to 1991. Vivek then pursued their education in the field of Accounts, earning a Chartered Accountant (CA) degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants between 1991 and 1994. Additionally, they obtained a degree in Legal studies from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, completing their studies from 1992 to 2005.
