Michael Pechart

Michael Pechart currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Sterman Masser, Inc. since April 2014. Prior to this role, Michael held various significant positions within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Agriculture from April 2003 to March 2014, including Executive Deputy Secretary of Agriculture, Acting Secretary of Agriculture, and Deputy Secretary for Marketing and Economic Development. Key responsibilities included managing a $230 million annual budget, leading multiple agricultural bureaus, and advising the governor on agricultural policy. Michael began their career as Director of Local Government Affairs at Pennsylvania Farm Bureau after earning a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business Management from Penn State University in 1996.
