Richard Valenti has had a long and successful career in the finance industry. Richard began their career in 1993 at BNP Paribas, where they held various roles including Chief Operating Officer in Australia and New Zealand, Marketing responsible for Cash Management, and Inspector and Head of Mission. In 2005, they joined BNP Paribas Assurance as a Member of the Executive Committee. In 2006, they moved to Generali as Deputy Managing Director and VP and CIO of Generali France. Richard was CIO of the year in 2009. In 2002, Richard became CEO, President and General Director of Shinhan BNP Paribas Asset Management, where they increased the funds from 4 to 10 billion EUR and developed a Chinese fund ranked 1st among foreign funds listed in Seoul. In 2022, they joined Stern Consulting as COO, providing strategic and cognitive consulting, a SaaS platform for behavioral analysis, and innovation and research convention with the University of Paris and CNRS under the direction of Professor Gérald Bronner. Richard also serves as an Executive Advisor at Octofan and a Strategic Partner at Silk Road Partners (BE/HK). Additionally, they are an Analyst of Risks and Governance at ANSC - Agence du Numérique de la Sécurité Civile.

Richard Valenti received their Ingénieur degree from Télécom Paris between 1983 and 1985. Richard then earned a DEA in Mathématiques from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 between 1978 and 1983. In 1992, they obtained a Technicien PNL from IFPNL. In 2019, they completed the Search Inside Yourself program from the Search Inside Yourself Institute, which focused on Engage, Emotional Intelligence, Mindfullness and Neurosciences. In 2021, they earned a Médiation - DU1 from Institut catholique de Paris, as well as a Decision and complexity (with Marc Grassin, Laurent Bibard) from Institut Vaugirard (Humanités et management), and completed a program from Fusacq institute.
