Adam Stops

Adam Stops has a diverse work experience, starting from their role as a Biomechanist at the Australian Institute of Sport in 2002. Adam then worked as a Researcher in Biomechanics at Digital City from 2003 to 2004. From 2004 to 2009, they were a PhD Candidate in Mechanical Engineering at NUI Galway. Adam then worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Leeds from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, Adam held the position of Engineering Analyst at Origin Product Design Ltd. Simultaneously, from 2012 to 2018, they served as the Treasurer for Cambridgeshire & Bedfordshire Region at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. In 2013, they joined Cambridge Consultants as a Principal Engineer and later moved to Bespak in 2016, where they worked as an Innovation Manager - Research and Early Stage Development until 2019. From 2019 to 2020, Adam served as the Director of Device Design and Industrialisation at Mylan. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Drug Delivery Systems Product Management at Stevanato Group, starting from June 2020.

Adam Stops has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in an unspecified field of study from Teesside University, which they earned from 2000 to 2003. Adam then pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Science from Teesside University from 2003 to 2005. Following this, Adam earned a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Galway from 2005 to 2009. Their educational journey concluded with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Technology Management from The Open University, which they completed from 2014 to 2019.
